Our platform makes requesting interviews with applicants easy.
Follow these steps to schedule an interview if your calendar is already synced:
- Find an applicant you'd like to interview from the applicants list and click View Profile
- Click Schedule Interview in the top right
- Select an interview template or create a new scheduling page
- Click Send Request to send the interview request to the selected applicant. The system will notify the applicant with your availability, and they will choose a time slot that works for them.
Follow these steps to manually schedule an interview if your calendar is not synced:
- Find an applicant you'd like to interview from the applicants list and click View Profile
- Click Schedule Interview in the top right
- Click Select slots manually to manually schedule an interview
- Select Phone or Video from the drop down menu.
- Confirm your time zone and verify that the email address and phone number (if applicable) are correct.
- Select dates and available time blocks that accommodate your schedule, then click Add. This will populate 30 minute time slots within your time block, which is the maximum interview time slot.
- Remove any time slots that you do not want to offer for interviewing by clicking the X to the right of the time slot.
- You can add another time block on the same day or a different day by selecting another day or time block. To remove an entire time block, click Clear All.
- Click Send Interview Request.
What happens next?
The interview will show up on your Interviews page as pending and a request will be sent to the candidate to confirm which date and time slot works for them, along with helpful tips and best practices to prepare for their interview.
If there is a conflict and none of the times you proposed work for the candidate, they will propose new times and you will receive a notification to confirm which alternative works best. Once confirmed, you will receive an email with the official date/time, a calendar invite, and instructions to join your phone or video interview.
