At the time of the interview, you can access the video interview a few different ways:
- The confirmation email sent by The Mom Project when the interview is scheduled.
- The day-of reminder email sent by The Mom Project.
- On the Dashboard tab under Applications, navigate to the job.
Do I need to be logged into my Mom Project account to access my video interview?
Yes.
How long can a single video interview link be used?
One video interview link can be used for up to 2 hours.
How many people can join a video interview?
2 participants: 1 candidate and 1 employer.
What devices can I use with The Mom Project's video interview feature?
You can use any device that supports recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari 11 or greater, including mobile phones, tablets, and laptops.
What if my camera/mic isn’t working?
Try refreshing the page and make sure your browser is up-to-date. Also, make sure you have selected Allow when the browser asks for permission to access your microphone and camera.
How can I test my equipment in advance to make sure everything is working?
Before joining the meeting, you will be able to preview your video and an audio indicator will be present in the bottom left-hand corner so you can test your microphone as well. Make sure your browser is up-to-date.
Do I need headphones?
No, you do not need headphones, though you can use them if you prefer. If you choose to use headphones, make sure the Bluetooth device or headphone jack is compatible with the computer or mobile device that you are using.
Does the video interview cost anything?
No, video interviews are free for both talent and employers.
Can I record my video interview or share my screen?
Not at this time.
Can I add a background or blur my background?
Not at this time.
