What data are we collecting?
TMP collects voluntarily provided demographic data in accordance with federal equal employment opportunity (EEO) standards. This information is considered Special Category Data, which we only process under limited circumstances.
All voluntary demographic data provided by Mom Project users is stored in an encrypted database that can only be accessed by technical support staff. The data associated with your individual user ID is never displayed on your profile, to employers, or any TMP staff involved in hiring. Prior to creating demographic data reporting for Customer Success staff, the data is anonymized so that only summary data is shared.
Why are we collecting this data?
With your consent, we are asking you to provide standardized reporting on the demographic makeup of the TMP talent community, to help us and our partners and contracted Employers learn and improve job listings, job search and help Employers hire more fairly and inclusively.
TMP contracted Employers agree to comply with all their responsibilities under applicable privacy and data protection rules with respect to the collection, processing and storage of Personal Data and Special Category Data.
How will we use this data?
The demographic data you provide will be aggregated with demographic data provided by other TMP talent users, and summarized in reports and used to help The Mom Project, our partners and our contracted Employers better understand and improve our business and inclusive practices. No parties, but for the elimination of any doubt, no Employers are at any time provided individualized or raw demographic data collected via this process.
Reporting to partners and contracted Employers will be done in arrears (after the fact) in a period after the associated job opportunities have been closed whether they be filled by the company, mom project or canceled. At no time will reporting be done on active roles in consideration. This policy is intended to provide additional assurance to all parties that the demographic data reporting provided by The Mom Project is not used in the determination of a hire, or the awarding of work and financial opportunity.
